GSO's Unit Building Tool
The free Unit Design Builder allows Georgia educators a way to create instructional plans aligned to the Georgia Performance Standards. Georgia teachers may use this versatile tool to build full, rich instructional units, unit frameworks, performance tasks, balanced assessments, teaching activities and learning activities. The Unit Builder is an easy tool that coaches a unit author through the performance-based design process, and makes building a GPS aligned unit quick and easy.

This session will examine Google’s free resources for Educators and Media Specialists. Conducting an in-depth review of tools for use in the classroom. Comprehensive reviews will include Book Search, Scholar, Google Earth, Unitedstreaming meets Google Earth, Web Page Creator, Google Notebook, Search for Images, Search for Video, Google Calendar, Picasa, Google Sidebar and Gadget Applications for Educators.

WetPaint Wiki
Thousands of educators worldwide have launched the free Wetpaint Wiki, which offers educators the best aspects of blogs, message boards, social networking, and other collaborative technologies to advance School 2.0 initiatives. Teachers are able to extend the learning process out of the classroom by creating "click and type" wiki sites that any designated person can edit. This allows both students and teachers to easily create and participate in collaborative forums for discussion, share lesson plans, and distribute class presentations and much more..

iTunes
iTunes is a free audio player for playing and organizing digital music files. The iTunes Music Store is the component of iTunes through which users can purchase digital music files from within iTunes. Users are able to organize their music into playlists, edit file information, record compact discs, copy files to a digital audio player, purchase music on the Internet through its built-in music store, run a visualizer to display graphical effects in time to the music as well as encode music into a number of different audio formats.
